June 27th

Okay, yes this is a bit late :P

On June 27, 2003 Brad and I went out on our first date. So every June 27th we try and celebrate it in someway. This year we decided to back to Algona. I don't think we had been back to the Godfather's in Algona since 2003. We usually go to Godfather's in Boone. Because we ALWAYS go and order a Taco pizza on that date. It just depends on where we are at the time. Since my parents were in Lincoln visiting Scott and Sara for their BBQ they had for the people who couldn't attend their wedding, we decided to head to Mason City first to my mother-in-law's house. We dropped off Strummer and Bosco then headed to Algona for the night. That's right it was our first time that we were w/out our son overnight. We have individually been away but not together. So, we went to Godfather's and had our taco pizza. Then we headed to go play mini-golf. After that we headed back to my parent's house and just chilled the rest of the evening. It was slightly odd not having Strummer around, but it was a good time for us to just be by ourselves and re-connect w/each other :D

The next day we headed to FBC and people were happy to see us, but curious why Strummer wasn't w/us! hee-hee-hee! That's what happens when you have a kid, if they aren't w/you people ask you where they are at! Then after church we went to the Mexican restaurant (can't remember the name) for lunch then headed back to MC to pick up Strummer. We had a good report back from Kay saying he did just fine! Thank goodness we have such an easy-going kid!

It was a wonderful weekend!
